Trials of Tarya Gratar - 'Father's Throne'

Player enters a once epic throne room, which is now in ruins and populated by all kinds of deadly creatures eager to feed. For this level I wanted a bit of dungeon-like feeling where danger await behind every corner.

Player enters a once epic throne room, which is now in ruins and populated by all kinds of deadly creatures eager to feed. For this level I wanted a bit of dungeon-like feeling where danger await behind every corner.

Once at least one creature gets alerted by the player it starts a chain reaction of a swarm coming from every direction. Arena branches into two paths with spawn equally balanced between the two.

Every branch is setup to spawn enemies on player's path at specific moment to ensure good mix of creature types and intensity.

Of course there is also a choke point where player can decide to push through or step back and clear the path from a distance.

Final part of the arena features a mini-boss fight with ton of support waves of enemies, forcing the player to use all space and flanking routes available.
